Fertility and Health Maintenence

My husband and I tried to conceive in December of 2007. We were unsuccessful on our own so we used the fertility drug Clomid for a few months. We did finally conceive but I had a miscarriage in February 2008.

We continued to use Clomid for several more months without any success. My Rheumatologist referred me to a fertility specialist in August 2008. After three attempts of IUI and Clomid we were not seeing any results. Due to my Rheumatoid arthritis time was against us. As a result, I decided to contact a family friend and acupuncturist that I used in college for my RA. She referred me to Carole Paine.

I started my acupuncture treatment with Carole in November 2008 for my fertility issue alongside my fertility doctor. Carole also relieved my wrist pain from my RA due to not being able to take any medication. At the end of the month, we received the great news that we finally conceived. I continued to visit Carole for acupuncture until the end of my first trimester. I truly believe acupuncture played a huge part in our success story. Now we are the parents to a healthy baby girl.

In addition, I have continued to see Carole when necessary. She has helped me relieve my postnatal headaches and heartburn as well as my RA which has affected other joints. To this day, I have been recommending Carole’s services to all my friends who have any health issue.
